Great news!! After a few years of study and practice and classes, I have received my certification from the Professional Photographers of America. It is a great honor and achievement. Thank you to everyone who participated in The 2014 Captivating Kids Model Contest!  Choosing was dificult, all the entries were great.  Congratulations Alexa!  

This is our most popular event next to Santa. We added an extra week this year to make enough room for everyone. The event will run from January 26th through February 9th.  This is such a cool thing, we assemble a 4 foot cube in the studio and start taking pictures. Like this:  We can take all types of poses and breakouts from the family. We even take pets! Here are some pictures of my dogs, Cooper and Chance taken with one of my favorite lenses the Nikon 50mm 1.4. This has got to be one of the best bargins in the entire industry. If you have a 35mm camera and don't have this lens, you need to put it on your wish list. Cannon makes one that is great too for about the same price. Last I checked the lens was about $350, which is the cheapest pro-quality piece of glass you can buy.  There is a 50mm 1.8 yout there too, but it is NOT a pro quality lens. It does however shoot better outside. This is because the 1.4 was made for indoor, low-light and the 1.8 was made for brighter conditions. Even though it opens up to 1.8, it looks plain awful ...
